Leah has broken my heart many times in my life, and today was no exception. She decided that, having spent the better part of the past 5 years combing Lily's hair, that Sophie's appearance wasn't worth the trouble. Yes, Lily still gets to have long hair but Sophie got it hacked off, even though Sophie is so much easier to prep in the morning. Someday Leah will look back and regret this, and Sophie's bangs, but for the moment, I lose. (Leah did not tell me she was doing this until Sophie had a bowl cut, and it was too late.)
