It has been another busy week of birthday celebration here. This time it was Lily's turn. We had our mini celebration with the family Thursday night (her actual birthday). It was tacos for dinner followed by creme puffs for desert. A quick stop by Lily's school for the Science Fair and then back home to open gifts. Sunday we had an ice skating party for Lily and her friends. For a couple of kids it was their first time but everyone did great and we had tons of fun.

Chinese New Year
Sophie's preschool is learning all about China from their teacher Miss Becky who happens to be from China. She has been teaching them Chinese words and songs that they shared with their families and friends today. In addition to a lovely musical demonstration they also had a Lion Dance Parade around the school and lovely refreshments after. The kids did a great job and were very proud.
