Levi's First Birthday

Today Levi is 1 year old. Hard to believe a year has gone by...he just gets cuter with each day. You'd think that the cuteness would wear off by the third kid, but it doesn't. He's just shy of 20 pounds and about 29 inches long. He stands and cruises but hasn't decided that walking is worth the effort yet. Surely our days are numbered on this one. Teeth number 5 and 6 are coming through this week so soon he'll have a mouthful. Just for the record his teeth are huge and seem to actually be bigger in size than Sophie's chompers.
Uncle Dan, Levi's Godfather, came from Albuquerque to help us celebrate the big day. Levi enjoyed meatloaf and mashed potatoes with chocolate cake for dessert. All of which he thoroughly enjoyed. After that, a much needed bath and off to bed! All in all a great day.

Lily's First Soccer Game

Today Lily had her first soccer game. She was super excited to get her uniform and soccer gear and really eager to get in there and play. Her shining moment was when she scored her team's first goal. We were so proud. Lily's friend from school, Percy, is also on the team which made it extra fun for both girls. To make the day even better Uncle Dan was in town for the weekend was able to come to the game with us. Great job Lily!

Red Rocks Take 4

Chuck took Lily _and_ Sophie to the Utes gymnastics meet tonight. It was a 'quad' which means 4 teams were competing. We sat with Laura and David and Jenn and Mia and Cassidy, and mayhem ensued. Honestly, I think the 2nd girl in this picture is Cassidy, but it could be Sophie. We'll probably never know.
